StreetWise Concepts & Culture
StreetWise had traditionally maintained a deep community to engage their membership on behalf of their clients; over time that model had slowly become obsolete (due mostly to building dedicated communities on behalf of our clients) so the old site had to be replaced. The new site is a revision of the corporate site and focuses on the company itself. As an added bonus, on the Portfolio and Case Study section you can see quite a bit of the projects I worked on (around 90% of them).
It's always the internal projects that are the most stressful and go through the most revisions. Not having a concrete, client dependent, deadline, combined with the responsibility to our clients, made this site go through around half a dozen iterations to get it just right. See the start date; January 2009. And the launch of October 2009. Long project. Stressful, to be sure, but the end result is, in hindsight, completely worth the pain. It's a credit to the team at StreetWise that I'm certainly proud of having a hand in creating.
